CSA Bounty 9-3-13



There are many plant pigments that offer some remarkable health benefits. Eating a rainbow of produce colors can help ensure that you are getting the necessary variety of such goodness. Thus, it makes me so happy when I can pull these brilliant colors together from our local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) at Copper Moose Farm.


Earlier this week we brought home:

• Mixed salad greens

• Arugula

• Basil

• Heirloom tomatoes

• Cherry tomatoes (orange)

• Leeks

• Garlic

• Carrots

• Beets

• Summer Squash

• Lavender

• Red potatoes

• Edible flowers
