Favorite Finds: Zucchini Noodler!

I used to be more of a kitchen gadget queen! But, at this point in my life, I like to keep things simple. Many gadgets save you a little time in preparation, but the extra parts to wash, dry and put back away can actually put that time saved right back on the clock. HOWEVER, this handy-dandy product is one I will gladly keep around!! My friend, Kerry, brought this to my attention a few weeks ago and I owe her a big shout out! Apparently this contraption has many capabilities, but if I only use it to make zucchini noodles it will be well worth my small investment. I’ve made zucchini noodles in the past with a juileene peeler and it works pretty well. But, I often feel like I’m wasting a good bit of the zucchini and the strands come out shorter and thinner than I prefer.

Not the case with this guy! It is easy to use, affordable, has few parts to wash, uses all but the very inner core of the zucchini, is QUICK to noodle AND makes unbelievably long strands! The thickness and texture of the noodles put pasta to shame. And to top off the praise, my kids, who are not big fans of zucchini, LOVED these noodles! It’s also a tool your little ones would have fun helping you with in the kitchen (with supervision of course).
