My Paleo Plate 9-11-12

Simplicity!

Breakfast:
It doesn’t have to be complicated to be nutritious and delicious!
• Zucchini Berry Muffins (paleoplan.com) that I made the day before
• Chicken sausage (nitrate/nitrite free, antibiotic and hormone free)
• Cherry tomatoes that the boys picked from our little garden
• Black coffee
The Bounty of the Week!
The frost is just around the corner, so in the meantime we are so thankful for the amazing produce we continue to get from our local farm share (CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture). Today we brought home:
beets
celery
arugula
mixed salad greens
summer squash
broccoli
carrots
purplette onions
heirloom tomatoes
cherry tomatoes
snow peas
and bulls blood beet greens
See if you can pick out these treasures in this week’s meals:-)
Dinner:
• Mixed organic green salad topped with homemade basil pesto (greens and snow peas from our local farm)
