Breakfast:
Fresh raspberries
Black Coffee
Snack 1:
Homemade trail mix
Lunch:
Leftover “Shannon’s Spaghetti”
This afternoon we had a family Fall Get-together for apple bobbing and pumpkin carving at our house! It was a great opportunity to try some seasonal paleo recipes!
The menu included:
Appetizers:
Sliced veggies with Walnut Red Pepper Dip (Sarah Fragoso, Everyday Paleo)

Roasted pumpkin seeds (from 2 pie pumpkins I cooked and pureed for part of dinner)
Amazing Pumpkin Pie Muffins (www.civilizedcavemancooking.com)
Dinner:
Pumpkin Spice Pot Roast (www.civilizedcavemancooking.com)
I thawed a couple roasts from our local grass-fed beef share for this crockpot recipe. Above is a picture of the ingredients that get poured over the meat to slow cook (including some fresh pumpkin puree I made the day before). I had a busy day ahead of me, so this was a perfect recipe to throw together in the morning!

Dessert:
Paleo Apple Crisp (jensgonepaleo.blogspot.com)
This recipe was easy and yummy. My boys had fun using our hand-crank apple peeler, slicer, and corer tool to make this Fall treat.

This is yummy! My kids would have loved it, if I left out the cayenne pepper:). The cayenne pepper confused my taste buds. Don’t get me wrong, I ate the whole thing but, next time I make it will be cayenne free.
