There are a lot of nut butters out there. The paleo/primal movement has increased the demand for these butters, as both a good source of fat and a tasty snack, Yumbutter takes that a step further.
While at a gluten-free product expo over the weekend, I stumbled upon the Yumbutter booth and learned not only is it delicious and nutritious but also has a great social mission. They call it, buy one:feed one, where for each pouch of Yumbutter purchased they help feed a child with malnutrition. They are partnered with a non-profit in Guatemala that provides holistic care to malnourished children and their mothers. Pretty awesome. Read more about their mission here.
The best part is the nutbutters taste great! The two I tried were the Almond Butter and Sunflower Seed Butter, both are blended with Chia, Hemp and Goji for added nutrition. They come in convenient squeeze pouches which make them great on-the-go additions to an apple, banana, or your finger!
In addition to being able to purchase through their website, you can also find them through Thrive Market, Lucky Vitamin, and some brick and mortar stores in certain areas. You can search for stores on their website.
