A Quick Share:
My son had a playdate at the bike park with four little buddies this morning. My husband and one other dad brought them all back to our house for lunch before heading to “Stick and Puck” at the ice rink to cap off their day together. Honestly, I have no idea what the other boys normally eat for lunch, but this is what I “threw” together (actually it was really easy). “Paleo” or not, who wouldn’t want to eat this beautiful food?!

Playdate Lunch Menu:
• Organic blueberries
• Organic mini bell peppers
• Organic sliced apples and almond butter
• Organic cucumbers
• Organic baked sweet potato slices
• Fresh out of the oven, Herb Roasted Chicken
• Salami and organic raw cheddar cheese
Along with some talk of who was going to be strongest on the ice based on who ate the best variety of nutritious foods, they all did pretty well!! Proof that it’s possible to feed your kids and their friends a well balanced and colorful meal of quality produce and meat. Step aside, Mac ‘n Cheese!
