
Shredded Crock-pot Chicken
Description
(This recipe came from my sister-in-law. It’s super yummy, easy and can be used for many dishes!)
Ingredients
- 6 – 8 chicken breasts
- 2 limes
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 large jar salsa
Instructions
- Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of a slow-cooker
- Squeeze juice from 2 limes and mix with chili powder in a small bowl
- Pour juice over chicken and cook on low for about 6 hours
- When chicken is done cooking, shred it using two forks and mix in your favorite jar of quality salsa
- Allow to sit in covered crock-pot on warm for 30 more minutes
- Use in your favorite shredded chicken dish
