Shredded Crock-pot Chicken

(This recipe came from my sister-in-law. It’s super yummy, easy and can be used for many dishes!)

Ingredients

  • 68 chicken breasts
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 large jar salsa

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of a slow-cooker
  2. Squeeze juice from 2 limes and mix with chili powder in a small bowl
  3. Pour juice over chicken and cook on low for about 6 hours
  4. When chicken is done cooking, shred it using two forks and mix in your favorite jar of quality salsa
  5. Allow to sit in covered crock-pot on warm for 30 more minutes
  6. Use in your favorite shredded chicken dish
