A creamy, healing latte is always what I’m looking for this time of year, and this turmeric tea hits the spot. Turmeric contains the active ingredient, curcumin, which is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory herbs, and is often the prominent ingredient in curries.
Turmeric has been heavily studied with profound effects on health.
It has been shown to significantly help with management of:
- IBS, Chrone’s disease, ulcerative colitis
- Cholesterol regulation
- and more
Of course it is always important to check with your doctor if you are on any medications to make sure there aren’t any contraindications with turmeric (such as it’s anti-coagulation effect), especially at higher doses.
